TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Melon Business 30-day Free Trial Promotion (“Promotion”) offers a new Melon customer (“new customer”) Uncapped Voice, Uncapped SMS, and 10GB capped Data (“Services”), subject to our Fair Use Policy, free of charge, for a period of 30 days, from activation of the new SIM or eSIM, subject to the following Terms and Conditions:

General

• This Promotion will launch on 4 September 2024 (“start date”).
• In the event that the new Customer’s Data runs out during the 30-day period, the new Customer may top-up their Data, using the Melon Business Portal on the terms for Top-Up bundles set out below.
• This Promotion is run in conjunction with the Melon Business Uncapped Plans, and is specifically subject to the Melon Business Terms and Conditions, which may be viewed on the Melon website.
• Melon reserves the right to change or to terminate this Promotion at any time, based on reasonable prior notice.
• Melon reserves the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time, provided that, where a change is material, it will be subject to reasonable prior written notice published on its website.
• Melon reserves the right to limit the Services in areas where there is limited network capacity (high congestion) in order to maintain consistent quality of Services.
• Melon reserves the right to alter or terminate the Services in order to prevent a catastrophic impact on the network.

Eligibility

• This Promotion is available exclusively to new customers i.e. customers who have not previously acquired or used a Melon SIM or eSIM.
• The Free Trial has a maximum cap of 5 sims on the 30-Day Free Trial per Melon Business Profile.
• Any number of SIM’s exceeding the aforementioned Free Trial limit of 5 SIM’s, will be subject to the price of the selected Uncapped Package.

Participation

• In order to sign up, you will need to:
  • Access The Melon Business Portal and complete the registration process, which will require the Business’s director/member/owner/partner ID, Company Registration documents, and card/bank details for payment;
  • Complete the on-boarding journey to become a Melon customer;
  • Select the 30-Day Free Trial, click continue and order the plan;
  • Accept these T&C’s and Terms;
  • Once payment of your tokenization charge (a minimal verification cost of R5) and a delivery fee of R30 is successful, your Plan will be updated.
• . Once activated, the User shall receive and be entitled to use the Services selected and paid for, provided that the User is not in breach of these T&C’s.
• The User will only need to sign in once, and accept these T&C’s and Terms, in order to participate in and enjoy the benefits of the Melon Business Plans
